Liina Tael

I like to call myself a yoga gypsy, travelling the world while learning and sharing my passion for yoga.

I first came to yoga through Kundalini yoga that I practiced in my home country Estonia for 5 years.

Liina TaelThe call to seek and explore lead me to Australia and the magical Byron Bay where I did my teacher training in Hartha yoga and ended up teaching regular classes and on retreats for Byron Yoga Centre for 1,5 years.

I love to flow in my practice, to combine movement and stillness, strength and effort with compassion and surrender.

In the beginning of 2009 I left Australia to follow my gypsy heart , that took me to beautiful places and inspiring yoga and meditation teachers in Hawaii, Canada and India, teaching along the way in resorts and on retreats.

My external journey has always been accompanied by an inner quest for peace, truth and liberation.

And my yoga has become so much more than just a set of postures on the mat; it's become a way of life - to live more simply in harmony with other people and nature and to be able to get so much joy out "ordinary" things.

That is what I wish to share – the joy for life!

My other big passion is dance – ecstatic, free, liberating expression of my soul in motion!

I come from a business background, have a degree in economics and worked in recruitment for many years.

I do believe that there was a seed that got planted during my first yoga class years back, growing and nurturing it through my practice has enabled me to connect with my heart and led me to become a healthier person in body, mind and spirit!
