Nitya has been a passionate seeker for many years.

Already in 1988, when she was just a teenager, she was asked to lead people in chanting and their spiritual dimension, and to sing sacred chants as a solo voice.

In 1993 the meeting with the spiritual master Osho gave a radically new direction to her life, making her slowly realize the depth of her longing for the Divine.

As a professional journalist, she started to travel regularly to Osho´s spiritual commune in Pune, India, where she participated in long and deeply transformative processes.

Many years later, in Madras, south India, when singing in front of  Shree Baghavan she had the mind-expanding experience of disappearing as the singer and totally becoming the song.

Back in Italy she met Ninad, a refined musician who, after his music education at the Milan Conservatoire, had gathered a wide experience in live music, from rock to jazz, and in teaching.

When Osho gave him the name deva Ninad, “divine sound”, his passion for musical creativity melted with meditation, leading him in a new direction.

Nitya and Ninad became partners and started immediately to play music and sing together, offering the mantra and kirtan experience to many friends on the path, in festivals, events and workshops, in Milan, in Italy and abroad. 

Their life together is constantly transformed by this non-verbal sharing of love for the Divine and for Existence, and it is tangible in the music they create together.
