TEACHER BIOGRAPHY
Already sporty by nature, I discovered Yoga a few years ago.
I thought it would be a good way to keep fit physically; only later did I realise that the real goal of yoga isn't the perfect pose: while I was training my body in endurance, power and observation, at the same time, and above all, I was training my mind in all of these things.
Fascinated by this world I knew little about, I decided to undertake the training at Hari-Om; today, I practise and teach Hari-Yoga, the yoga that doesn't exist, combining dynamism, focus, awareness of the body and the breath, with a dose of cheerfulness and lightness.
Today, I am convinced that yoga goes far beyond more or less acrobatic poses; I am convinced that yoga is the opposite of dogma, of fixation, of a lack of freedom; I am convinced that the spiritual person is the rebellious person and, after years of study, I am happily convinced that I still don't know very much.
For me, practising is a bit like fighting with myself to reach a place where fighting is no longer necessary, turning the knots of the body and mind into joints that move freely.
I lift my feet off the mat to take on aerial yoga training, shifting the awareness of perception and finding a new point of union, even in the air.
Curiosity led me to add the study of prenatal yoga, offering not a yoga aimed at the future event, but a practice that helps us embrace the event as it unfolds, so that we live pregnancy not as "waiting for" something but as a way to tune in better to the present moment.
