JULY 19th - 22nd 2018

Thanks to everyone who lived and experienced Bliss Beat Festival 2017

Let me start by saying thank you to all of you who attended the event, in particular the volunteers and the teachers who are crucial to make this festival a real thing. Without their free contribution, the festival simply would not be able to survive. A huge thank you to those who work for the school and for Cascina Bellaria and for whom the festival is a reason to rejoice and celebrate but it also means a lot of work, undoubtedly not paid enough.
In other words the festival is an act of love and no one becomes financially rich with it (to the school is just a substantial expense).

Those who organize concerts for a living know very well that sums often do not add up and people often ask me why we do it. The answer is always the same: because we love it!

You should always do and invest in what we love in spite of; I keep saying this repeatedly during my classes and I put it into practice every day of my life. Those who join us and give all they have (that is not just for a class or a day), are left with a feeling of ecstatic exhaustion.

Sunday at sunset, with Tucker, Travis and Miller playing by the bar, the survivors of the four days listening to music and the newly arrived Fleshtones fans excited for the gig to come, I was sipping a Margarita (cheers Alessandro and Frida for the supreme alcoholic skills), listening to the background voices of friends and strangers and with Emanuela close by…. Everything was just so perfect! I ask myself, more often than ever why not everyone sees it as it needs so little to be happy.

To those who missed it, you can make up for it next year from 19th to 22nd July 2018!
