Alice Kundalini & Luca Sigurtà - Yoga

NoiseYoga: Beyond Good and Evil
With Alice Kundalini & Luca Sigurtà
Saturday 18 July 2026, 11:45 am // Piazza Grande
The contemporary vision of yoga seems to lead us ever more towards a reassuring and comfortable, relaxing and welcoming imagery, echoing the Christian dualism of good and evil, light and shadow, constantly devoting the yogin to the path of well-being. With this practice, we try to free ourselves from these easy labels. The Vinyasa Yoga practice, inspired by the archetype of Matangi, the goddess who best represents what breaks the boundaries between light and shadow, will be accompanied by noise and industrial music, played strictly live and composed by Alice and Luca, who will reinterpret live their latest album released on the American label The Helen Scarsdale, The Grimorian Tapes.
The album tells of an initiatory journey that goes beyond death into contact with the beyond, whether it is projected inside or outside reality, but always in a non-ordinary state, where ritual and practice lead us, and where, in its neutral observation, it remains beyond any Catholic or New Age demarcation.
Fearlessly, we practise beyond good and evil, we listen beyond good and evil, we experience beyond good and evil. And right there, beyond, we meet. Who knows if we will recognise each other.

Talk // Yoga as a discipline of Being
With Alice Kundalini & Marco Mandrino
Thursday 16 July 2026
from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
PALCO
Amid yoga mats, soft music and promises of relaxation, yoga risks becoming an aesthetic of wellbeing. Often reduced to a tool for relaxation and consolation, it is sold through a reassuring, trivialising surface, where it is hard to tell where Eastern philosophy ends and new age begins.
Yoga can instead go further, in a vertical and radical direction that questions identity and dualism. It can lead us towards truth rather than entertainment. And as an evolutionary path beyond, it can enter into authentic dialogue with non-conformist philosophies, from both East and West.
This talk explores yoga as an integral path, in dialogue not only with Indian traditions but also with Western philosophy, in a vision where yoga is not what anaesthetises us but what exposes us more, excludes nothing in the name of a false wellbeing, and is a full yes to life, in the name of being.
BIOGRAPHY

Alice Kundalini is passionate about everything that is in some way out of the ordinary: music, film, art, literature. She came to the study of yoga when she encountered Eastern philosophy at the University of Genoa in 2004, where she graduated in Philosophy. She qualified as a yoga teacher at the international Hari-Om school and in 2020 founded the centre Yoga in Wonderland – Hariom Biella, where, together with a passionate group of wandering souls, she leads classes in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Meditation, Philosophy and much more. She is part of the Hari-Om teaching staff, with a particular focus on teaching Indian philosophy and mythology. At the same time, she is an experimental electronic musician with the solo project She Spread Sorrow, published since 2014 by the historic English label Cold Spring Records, which has led to the release of several records and to live performances in Italy and across Europe.
Luca Sigurtà has been an electronic composer since the early 2000s.
He has released music on international labels such as Glistening Examples, Monotype Records and Silken Tofu. His emotional, electronic sound has become part of a mix made of tapes, loops, rhythms and flows of analogue synth: a very original kind of trip-noise-hop, with melodies carrying a striking sense of melancholy and delicate digital / analogue sounds that show the full potential of his music.
He devotes himself to sound research in many forms, from the most avant-garde horizons of museum installations to more practical ones, creating sonic journeys for meditation and other experiences of mindful listening. With Suoni Possibili, the association he founded together with Sergio Sorrentino, he is constantly active in the cultural field, both locally and internationally.
