Antonio Affatati - Movements & Martial Arts

Wild Kumite
With Antonio Affatati
Saturday 18 July 2026, 11:45 am // Cortile del Guerriero
Combat as energy, instinct and presence.
An immersive experience inspired by kumite - the sparring of karate - reinterpreted in a free, sensory way that is open to everyone.
No martial arts experience needed.
There are no winners or losers.
It's not about "knowing how to fight".
Through movement, rhythm, distance, breath and relational play, we will explore combat as a language of the body: a dance made of presence, intention, listening and instinct.
An intense but safe practice, where energy and control live side by side, and where even aggression can turn into vitality, clarity and freedom of expression.
Through dynamic exercises, spontaneous reactions, partner work and moments of deep centring, we will step into a space where the body stops overthinking… and simply starts to respond.
A tribal, playful and deeply alive experience.
Suitable for all levels of experience.
For anyone who wants to move, let go, experiment and rediscover an authentic form of vital energy.
Yin & Shiatsu: Abitare il bacino
With Federica Menenti and Antonio Affatati
Friday 17 July 2026, 11:45 am // Cortile del Guerriero
The pelvis is our vital centre: it supports, grounds, welcomes and creates. It is the place of stability, but also of creativity, inner strength and the ability to give shape to our projects. In this workshop we will combine the depth of Yin Yoga with the mindful touch of Shiatsu to explore the pelvis as a space of listening and transformation. Through positions held over time, we will work on the hips, the sacrum and the energy lines of the Kidney and Bladder, encouraging openness, softness and stability.
The Shiatsu treatment, woven into the practice, will accompany deep release and support energetic rebalancing. It will be a slow time, a safe space in which to learn to inhabit your own centre, melt away accumulated tension and regain a sense of grounding and presence. It is work that also nourishes that deep reserve of vital energy which the Ayurvedic tradition calls Ojas, a silent quality of stability and regeneration that we carry within us. An experience suitable for everyone, even those who have never practised before.
